We take great pride in breeding high quality puppies. All puppies are born in our home. They are given individual care, love, and attention. Daily contact and stimulation is important to the neurological development of young puppies, therefore, each one is handled and socialized extensively. Puppies will have early neurological stimulation, preparing them for the future. Puppies will have been introduced to birds/wings/scent and water (weather permitting) and accustomed to loud noises. Since we breed healthy puppies that are built for higher energy and performance, we give priority to our hunt test, hunting, sporting, working, and active homes.
A lot of thought, planning, and research goes into each breeding. We do everything possible to ensure that our litters will produce puppies that are genetically sound. All dogs in our breeding program have OFA Good or Excellent Hips, OFA Normal Elbows, and OFA Eye CERF . We also submit our dogs to full panel DNA genetic health testing and we guarantee that our puppies will not be affected by any of the genetic disorders that we test for. Our goal is to produce healthy, genetically sound puppies while still preserving the breed's natural hunting abilities, instincts, trainability and temperament.

Regardless if planning on breeding or not, due to the medical health benefits, we strongly do not encourage spay/neuter before 24 months.
We encourage all puppy owners to genetically health test their dogs, regardless if planning on breeding or not. We offer 20% off coupon (or codes for genetic testing in all puppy packets from Embark.
"Doodles" and Dilutes:
We do not support breeding for traits not recognized in the breed standard; including dilutes, not to mention various mixed breeds (Labradoodles). These fads are being promoted by non-ethical kennels, typically looking to make money with no regard for long term goals in their programs; spinning tales and exaggerating facts such as promoting non-allergenic puppies or “best of both breeds.”
We are passionate about ethical breeding practices and preserving the breed. We do not condone in the breeding of dilutes or dilute factored Labradors. According to the breed standard, established by the Labrador Retriever Club, Inc., there are three acceptable colors of Labrador Retrievers. Those colors are Black (all black), Yellow (fox-red to light cream), and Chocolate (light to dark chocolate). Silver, Champagne or Charcoal (known as dilute coat colors) are not an acceptable color of Labrador Retrievers and is a disqualifying fault. The LRC, Inc. will not support dilute Labradors despite the fact they can be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) under a foundation or base color. The AKC itself only allows Labradors to be registered in three colors. (black, yellow and chocolate). We are very serious about this and we are proud to be dilute free! All puppies that come from Flight Enders Retrievers are guaranteed to be dilute free. We do not sell to homes interested in breeding dilutes, doodles, or other variations not accepted to the breed standard.
**Dew Claws :
Flight Enders Retrievers does NOT remove dewclaws on our puppies. The dewclaw, contrary to popular belief, does serve a purpose. That purpose is to prevent torque on the leg, which in turn, aids in prevention of arthritis. Dew claws can also help dogs climb out of ice, which can be imperative to our hunting dogs. With these medical benefits, all puppies will have dew claws intact.
***Breeder Support and Rehoming:
Breeding is a huge responsibility! We feel so strongly about the well being of our puppies. We want to be there if you have any questions or need any support in their life, at any stage of their life. We love to hear updates about our puppies and are happy knowing they are well taken care of in their new home. We only want a happy life for them so we encourage you to contact us for any reason in regards to your puppy.
Because of this responsibility of bringing new life, we require that if, for any reason your puppy/dog would ever need to find a new home, we would the first contacted for the return and to be involved in finding a new acceptable home. We are not here to judge, we know life happens, but we feel it's our responsibility to do our best to ensure that every puppy goes to a good home, even when rehomed and at any stage of their life. Although we do not give refunds when returning a dog (with the exception of any contract guarantee issue), we offer a one-time relocation assistance of up to $200 (Calculated at the Standard Mileage Rate) if the dog is returned to us, at any stage of their life. We firmly feel that all of our puppies always have a home here, no matter if they are 8 weeks or 15 years: They are always welcome home.
Owner/Handler Hunt Test Reward Program
We know our puppies are going to amazing hunters and wonderful companions! We want to encourage all owners to join their local hunt clubs and participate in dog sports, include hunt tests, even if they are new to the game. These clubs and tests are a fantastic way to learn to train your dogs and keep them active. We are happy to help you along the way anyway we can and by showing our support, we offer back to every puppy owner a reward of $100 for their first hunt test title they earn with their new companion (owner/handler earned.) Even if it's a started title or a junior hunter, your first title is still an accomplishment and should be rewarded!
